Lycopene

Lycopene is a carotenoid which is commonly found in red vegetables and fruits such as tomatoes, watermelons, grapefruit, and red carrots and other fruits and vegetables that have a bright red appearance. It is not, however found in red fruits such as cherries. Feeds that are not red, such as parsley and asparagus may contain lycoene.
